Windshield Card — get reached without sharing your number
A printable QR code you leave on the dashboard. Anyone blocked by your car, who spots your lights left on, or hears your alarm going off can reach you straight from a scan — no account needed, and your phone number stays private unless you choose to share it.

How to activate it
From the app: on the car's screen, the "Windshield Card" card → Activate. A unique code is generated, tied strictly to that car — if you have several cars, each one gets its own code.

From the same screen, Download PDF for your windshield — a ready-to-print PDF with 4 identical cards on a single A4 sheet (cut one for the dashboard, keep the rest as spares or for another car). No sticker to order, no waiting.
What happens when someone scans it
A simple page opens, no account required, with four predefined messages to send: you're blocked, your lights are on, your alarm is going off, or something's leaking underneath. One tap, and you get a push notification on your phone — instantly, anonymously, with no details about you revealed to whoever sent it.
🔒 Anonymity is the default, not an option. The predefined messages never reveal your phone number — that stays true no matter what other settings you turn on.
Direct contact — optional
If you'd rather be reachable by call or WhatsApp, you turn that on explicitly from Settings → How you want to be contacted. Separately, there's also a toggle for the printed card: showing your number right on paper, visible without scanning anything — useful for people without a phone handy in a parking lot. All three are independent switches, off by default — you choose exactly what you expose, nothing more.
💡 Tip: if you've lost a printed card, or think it ended up with the wrong person, tap Regenerate code — the old one stops working immediately.
What you see, as the owner
Every message received stays in the card's history, with time and type — you can always check how many alerts you've gotten and what kind, even if you missed the push notification at the time.

Frequently asked questions
Does whoever scans the code need an AutoMeu account?
No. The page that opens when scanned is public, no login required — anyone can send a message, even if they've never heard of AutoMeu.
Does whoever scans it see my phone number?
Not by default. The predefined messages (blocked, lights on, alarm, leak) are completely anonymous. Your number only shows up if you explicitly enable direct calling or WhatsApp, or choose to print it directly on the card.
Can I invalidate a card that's already printed?
Yes, from Settings → Regenerate code. The old code stops working immediately and the old printed card becomes useless — handy if you've lost it or think it ended up with the wrong person.
