Sharing your car with family
If your car is also driven by someone else in the family — a partner, a child, a parent — you can give them access to it without them having to add the car separately themselves.

How to share
Me → Share cars → pick the car → type the person's email → Invite. The person must already have an account in the app, on that email. They receive an email with an invitation link; they open the link in the app and accept.
You can share a car with up to 10 people. On your car's card you see how many people have access, and from the same screen you can revoke access at any time.
What the invited person sees and can do
Can
- See the car on Home, marked "shared by [your name]"
- See the ITP / RCA / Rovinieta status, checked at the source, with days remaining
- See the car's whole log, with who made each entry
- Add log entries — including through voice dictation
- Edit and delete only the entries they made
- Set their own alerts on the car
Can't
- Edit the car's data, change its color, delete it
- Share the car further
- Edit or delete your entries
- Export the history or the annual report
💡 When you revoke access, the car disappears for that person. The entries they made stay in the car's log — they're the car's history, not the person's.

How many people can I share a car with?
With a maximum of 10 people at the same time, on the same car.
Does the person I share with need an AutoMeu account?
Yes. You invite them at their existing account's email; if they don't yet have an account on that email, the invitation can't be sent.
What happens to their entries if I revoke their access?
They stay in the car's log — they're the car's history, not the person's. Revoking access doesn't delete what was already added.
